wispa

wispa for coding agents

Answer Pi by voice.

Pi keeps its core small and its loop fast, moving through Read, Write, Edit and Bash and checking in whenever a call is yours. wispa turns each of those check ins into a quick spoken reply, sent straight back into the session.

Requires wispa for macOS 13+ or Windows 10+. Free in beta, no account.

How it works

Set it up once, then just talk.

  1. Turn on the Pi hook

Open wispa, go to Integrations, and flip the Pi switch. It writes the hook for you; start a new session to activate.

  2. Pi pauses and asks

When your agent needs you, the reply window appears over whatever app you are in, with its message and project.

  3. Answer out loud

Hold your dictation key and speak, or just type. Hit Send, and your answer lands back in the session.

Why it's better

Built for the way agents actually interrupt you.

Keep the loop moving

Pi works in tight, quick loops and comes back to you often. A spoken sentence answers faster than reaching for the keyboard, so the agent never waits long and you never break your flow.

Redirect it in a sentence

Course correcting Pi mid task is faster spoken than typed. Hold your dictation key, say what you want changed, and wispa lands it as text in the reply box.

Back into the running session

Continuation returns your answer into the running Pi session, even in the background and whichever model you've pointed it at. Or paste it into the terminal like a normal dictation.
